This guy still manages to be happy even after waking up every 40 minutes
all day and night. Mama on the other hand is a different story. Ever since Colin got sick a few weeks ago, his sleeping habits have been horrible, with 12-15 wakeups a night. We're trying everything the baby sleep books say, but we're not really having much luck. We even stuck him in our large walk-in closet so he has his own space to cry and try to get back to sleep. Needless to say, it's been a rough few weeks for me and Jarom, but somehow Colin maintains his smile even when sleep-deprived.

I Love to See the Temple
The boys and I accompanied Jane and a few investigators to the temple for a tour. Bryson took photos along the way so all photos Bryson's not in are his photos. It was a super cold day so we didn't stay too long and only took a few pictures outside, but we enjoyed visiting the temple grounds and feeling the spirit of the temple.

Baby Pull-Ups
He finally pulled himself up to a stand completely on his own and I think it was one of his proudest moments.

Happy New Year!
We managed to celebrate the New Year although we've all been down with
the flu and colds for the last two weeks, including Baby Colin who had a
temperature of 103 and is still having some congestion and wheezing issues.
Poor baby! I hope he continues to recover. We watched a movie together and Bryson pulled some party poppers to ring in the new year. Happy 2015!

Merry Christmas To All And To All A Good Night
We had another great Christmas! Bryson was so excited that he went to bed early on Christmas Eve without me asking "so that Santa could come." He woke up early but waited to open presents and stockings until Daddy got home from work and Colin woke up. Colin loved hearing us rip the wrapping paper and enjoyed playing with the bows and Bryson was very enthusiastic about all his gifts. The elf pajamas Grandma Jane got were a big hit (they wore them to bed last night) and so are the magnet toys Grandma Joy and Grandpa Jim got Bryson. Bryson's favorite toy is the Spirograph which he has spent hours doing since Christmas morning. Colin's favorite toy is his cell phone. That way he doesn't have to play with ours (thanks Grandma Judy!)
After opening gifts, Bryson spent the day with Grandma Jane and Papa Randy while Colin, Jarom, and I napped (which was the perfect Christmas gift for this sleep-deprived Mama). Then we joined Bryson at Jarom's parents' house. We had a DELICIOUS prime rib dinner that Randy prepared and spent some time enjoying the company of Jarom's family, and although Grandma Jane was sick, we piled on her bed to open a few family gifts. We left happy and well-fed and excited that it officially ended up being a White Christmas!
This Christmas season our family is feeling very blessed (and it sure beats last year's Christmas when I was flat on my back on bed rest). We are thankful for the birth of our Savior and His gifts to us that allow us to do everything that we do! Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
"It's a White Christmas!"
